  • English w/ Mrs. McFadden- The sixth graders had a blast at fall fest, and we thank the 8th graders for running the stations. It was a beautiful day! We will continued to read Walk Two Moons this week. We also worked on vocabulary development and comprehension. They had a few chapters to read over the weekend along with questions to answer. We will have our vocaby quiz on the 3rd set of Daily dose words on Tuesday.
  • Fundamentals of Pre-Algebra w/ Mrs. Murray-It has become apparent that there is a lapse in some math skills (that have been learned and forgotten) that are foundational in math.  A review of many concepts, including, place value, decimals, fractions and mixed numbers, long division, median, mode, and range.  We spent the week reviewing and practicing these concepts.
  • Music w/ Mrs. Chelsey – We divided up into instrument sections and worked in groups on our assigned parts for “Silent Night”. **I am still looking to borrow a few electric keyboards (with stands), so if you have one we could use, please bring it to middle school this coming week! Thank you so much!
  • Elective w/ Mrs. Boldrick or Mr. Alex – Robotics – a sign-up for the Oglebay Institute Nutcracker Ballet/WCDS Mouse project will be emailed soon. All students must attend two shows with their “mouse.”
