Winter Welcome Back!

  • Wednesdays are our library days.  Please return any books your child is finished with on this day. Sign up here to be a Guest Reader!
  • Thursdays are Preschool’s walk your child to class day.  If your schedule allows, feel free to park at the shelter and come join us for our daily discovery time! 
  • We have friends with allergies and are a nut-free classroom. 
  • When it snows: If you have gloves on, you may touch the snow.  If you have boots on, you may walk in the snow. If you have snow pants on, you may play in the snow.
  • Beforecare is available in the gym from 7:30- 8:20 and aftercare from 3:30-5:00.

Hello Preschool families,

We have a new student in Preschool. Welcome Hailey and her family to the WCDS community. So glad you are with us!!

The vibe in our classroom was filled with excitement and smiles getting back to seeing friends and jumping back into routine. Once settled in and after getting to have discovery time, we read First Snow by Bernette Ford. Then we asked them to Name something special you did over Christmas break in a sharing circle. For a future provocation, we are asking the children to send in a shoe box with their name on it. Please send in the week of January 15th. We are excited to start this project on Thursday, January 18th. Thank you for your cooperation.
