  • English w/ Mrs. McFadden – This week we wrapped up “The Parker Inheritance”. It was a great book to discuss with the class. It was a mystery, with some twists in character development and hidden identities. I loved seeing and hearing the lightbulbs go off as they listened to the book. It was so much fun to have a book club every day! We will finish our essays when we return from spring break.
  • Foundations of Pre-Algebra w/ Mrs. Murray-This week we reviewed median, mean, mode, and range, then triads, area, and perimeter of rectangles.  On Thursday, we had leap day games and activities.  We concluded the week with a digital math escape room challenge.
  • Science w/ Mrs. Farris – Students developed an experimental design to highlight either physical or chemical change. They set parameters, identified variables, created hypotheses, and developed steps to conduct their experiment. While some conclusions refute their hypothesis, it created a great learning experience to find positivity in “failure” and how it is important to the process of scientific inquiry.
  • Elective w/ Mrs. Boldrick – We finished the design elective by presenting final projects to the whole middle school. We are proud of everyone’s work!
