Upcoming Dates and Announcements:
⭐️Friday, September 27th we return to our normal session times. 9:00-10:15 am for Little Explorers and 11:00-12:15 pm for We Two at the Northern classroom.
⭐️Friday, October 4th will be another combined class from 10:00-11:15 am at the Northern classroom.
What an amazing combined session we had today in our lovely space and I thank you for making it so magical. This week we used paint sticks and oil pastels on large aluminum foil boxes, making sure to stack them nice and high. A large bin of dried chickpeas and small pinecones turned into yummy muffins and other “cooked” dishes with our silver pots and pans. Emergency vehicles and other cars zoomed around the car with the wooden arches and blocks. Even our hedgehog friend found a home on top of a large tower. Some friends explored the neon colored cups and tubes at the light table, while magnifying glasses gave us a closer look at some beautiful nature items. Don’t forget the branches and sticks that got a little pop of color while we continued to glance out the big windows at the world going by. We finished off our time together with Sandra Boyton’s story, Hippos Go Beserk, thanks to our We Two friend Luella. It was simple counting story that had us all giggling at hippos dressed in fancy clothes and riding in helicopters. Lastly, 2 smashing rounds of the song Wheels on the Bus got our bodies moving and grooving. We have some very talented dancers and singers on our hands!
