On Monday we will be taking a bus to the Brooke County Animal Hospital. The bus will leave promptly at 9:00. We will arrive back on campus by 12:30 to eat lunch!
It was a blustery week, but we made the most of it!
In phonics, we focused on the suffix -ed and discovered it can make three different sounds. In writing, the children are wrapping up their memoirs—some have been funny, others heartfelt, and a few even a little scary!
In math, we learned how to count quarters and introduced the importance of the decimal point. The kids are practicing counting mixed change, and next week, we’ll dive into making change and opening our class “restaurants!”
We also started an exciting new deep dive into geography and community. It’s going to be a fun journey!
Have a great weekend!
