You could feel it in the air yesterday… like when siblings get along and your heart swells. The kids brought donuts, cake, pizza, and candy to share with friends. Our Middle School is a special place where grade levels don’t matter, and students and teachers are part of a community that is much more like a family than a school.

English w/ Mrs. McFadden –
- Upcoming Tests/Quizzes- none scheduled
- Students solved a “Poisoned Valentine” mystery, using logic and clues to discover which villain poisoned Snow White.
- We reviewed parts of speech and discovered that this is an area that needs frequent practice.
- We continued to read The Parker Inheritance. This book takes place in the present, but flashes back to different time periods in the deep south, lending itself to discussions about historical topics such as Jim Crow Laws and a brief explanation of the KKK.
Math w/ Mrs. McFadden –
- Upcoming Tests/Quizzes- none scheduled
- We were pleased that everyone now understands the content in chapter 4!
- We introduced Chapter 5 and will begin to move from translating algebraic expressions to solving algebraic equations.
Deep Dive w/ Mrs. McFadden & Mr. K –

- We only met once this week, but we enjoyed seeing the final product come together!
