This week in second grade, our kiddos gave it their all! We wrapped up our AIMSweb assessments and introduced the new phonics pattern eigh says /ā/—they caught on quickly! We’ve also been diving into our Who Was book reports. Each student is creating their own little “person” to represent their famous figure, and they are absolutely darling.
A huge highlight of our week was finishing our painted garden rocks and planting veggies with the help of our amazing families—thank you for coming out and getting your hands dirty with us!
And… keep an eye out for a special Mother’s Day surprise! The kids were so excited to create something just for you. You are so loved!
