  • The students have been working very hard with learning and retaining information about linear equations, slope, and y-intercept.
  • They worked on a program called Desmos, and learned how the slope and the y-intercept affects a line.
  • We finished our project with Conrad Borchers this week. It was a great opportunity to work with him and Carnegie Mellon University. We are grateful for his offer to teach with us.
  • Students will take the math portion of Aimsweb on next Thursday, May 15 during math class at 1:00 PM. Please help your child remember to charge their computer or bring their charger to school that day. We have only one day to make up this portion of the test; we appreciate your help in making sure your child attends school that day.

  • Our chemistry unit led us to put our new periodic skills to the test as we built out atom models using Bohr Diagrams.
