The entire middle school was abuzz with excitement and creativity as they planned their designs for the pumpkin drop on Tuesday. There are some wildly creative contraptions to protect the pumpkins, and the best part is, we didn’t spend a dime on materials! They used all sorts of crazy things they found lying around, and we can’t wait to see which designs will work!
The Glow Fest Party was so much fun! The games, music, costumes, and food were a big hit!

Upcoming Tests/Quizzes- none scheduled
Students spent most of the week practicing vocabulary for our test, and creating “Singing Tree” posters, which were our culminating activity for Walk Two Moons. They went on an epic quest of a vocabulary walk on Monday. The definitions were posted around the fireplace room, and students used a word bank to match up the correct word to the correct definition. I think they got about 3,000 steps by the end of it! I was also very impressed by their creative representation of all the symbols from the book they used in their posters!
