Dear Playgroup Families,
Let’s get together and have lots of fun! That was the vibe today as all of our young learners gathered together today for a wonderful session. I loved seeing the interactions happening between the kiddos as we explored all kinds of love-inspired provocations. Our block area was filled with snuggly Beanie Babies, squishy cube blocks, and colorful scarves. Mixed with the cars, colored cones, and books, it made for quite an eclectic mix of play. A fresh batch of pink and purple playdough mixed with glittery hearts, cookie cutters, and cherries gave us all of the lovey feels. Our sensory table was filled with sparkly pink water and lots of heart sponges. There was lots of scooping and swirling going on, but watch out for the ducks! A different set of stepping stones made for an interesting obstacle course as the students stomped to have the lights and sounds happen. The light table shined bright with lace, bright red fillable hearts, giant gems, and our coloring changing lanterns. Our car track papers were marked with crayons and watercolors, resulting in some interesting textures and colors. Lastly, the students were invited to explore fuzzy flowers and different containers, making for some beautiful bouquets. We finished with our story, I’ll Love You Till the Crocodiles Smile, and some extra shakey egg action.
